Mesa,#2UPDATE EX-employee responds
Tue, August 26, 2008
I worked for this company for 2 days. I should have known at the interview that the so called "promises" that Audra made were too good to be true. The truth is it is a sweat shop. The company hires nieve, unsuspecting young people (mostly young girls in their early 20's) and has them work long hours (typically 12 a day) for little pay. They go out in the elements (and it is hot in Sacramento) to try to get unsuspecting people to give them money for low end murchandise. Nicoco International promises these young "employees" that in 6 months they will own their own buisness. But the truth is, you never will. Many of the people there had worked there for more than 6 months and no buisness to call their own. But in a way, you need to give Nicoco International some credit. The young women they hire are very attractive and can use their looks to sell to horney young men in the public who will pay $10 for a tee shirt in hopes of getting these girls phone numbers. And as far as the web site goes...it is up and running now and is very generic. It looks EXACTLY like Encore management groups and other so called "companies". And Nicoco International is connected to Encore Management-they are a sub company. So-to anyone who is thinking about interviewing for NICOCO INTERNATIONAL-don't waste your time. You can make more money in a real job. Forget the garbage they try to sell you about "protecting children". If you really want to help the missing children-go to the website directly and make a donation. You simply cannot trust these "direct market"sellers...they are a scam and I am sorry to Audra who could do so much better-get in a real company.

Nicoco International run by president Audra Levey is far from a scam. In actuality She just opened mid-week of the last week of January. She and several of the other employees re-located from the Greatneck/Glen Cove office in NYC. Vanessa is actually her recruiter that schedules her interviews. She does share an office with another company but has no affiliation to his company or business matters. Encore MGMT is a seperate company they share office space to lower the expense however pay the same administrator to answer the phones crazy I know. And the website is still soon to come the reason is BECAUSE SHE JUST OPENED AND IT IS UNDER CONSTUCTION SO IT IS NOT POSTED ON CARREER BUILDERS,MONSTER ,OR THE HOTJOB ADS YET because why would she send people to her website that is in the process of being built. Sweat shops. Considering she just moved to California from NYC I doubt she has hirered enough people to work in her sweat shop that raises money for the CPEA which is the second largest missing childrens organization in the country. But Im sure you went in for your interview and realized it was a professional interview and realized you were incorrect in all of the statements you posted. Chances are you didnt go to the interview you didnt meet Audra and you are unemployed so didnt really have anything other to do than bash someones company who just opened a few weeks ago. Especially Audra who is the hardest worker I have ever met. The reason I know this information is because Audra is my best friend I know all the inside information about the company because I own my own office location within the same parent company and Vanessa is also my recruiter for my office. Audra was one of my main coworkers when I also worked in the NYC office before opening in Jacksonville florida So before you accuse people of being a scam your research was inconclusive. TRY AGAIN. Nicoco International is an unbeliable company to work for so please do not base your decision from one girls story.
