I contracted a move through World Wide Vanlines to move my furniture from arizona to washington. I asked them if they contracted other companies and they said they did not. On the day of pickup 14 Oct 08, a penske truck showed up with the driver. He said he was from energizer moving company and received the contract from world wide vanlines. The email had my information and did not state how much furniture I had. The penske truck he had was allready half full with someone elses things on it.

In world wide vanlines quote they say you will receive a 2 to 6 man moving team. The driver from energizer said that the people he normally works with would not come down to arizona since they might get arrested by imigration. Energizer ended up hiring a teenager from labor ready to help him out. It took them 8 hours to pack a two bedroom apartment and load half of a penske truck. On signing the paperwork I requested delivery on 23 Oct 08 from arizona to washington. My delivery did not occur untill 12 Nov 08.

During this time I called up energizer almost everyday and asked what my status was on delivery. I was told everyday I called that it would be leaving the next day. After 2 weeks I asked why the truck hadnt left yet when he had been telling me that it left and he responded with they did not have any other customers in washington so I would have to wait untill they could find other deliveries to that area.

When my furniture finally arrived on 12 Nov 08, about half of my furniture was damaged or destroyed. The driver only gave us half of the weight ticket which stated in my contract I would receive a weight ticket for full and empty. The driver was by himself and offered my friend 60 dollars to help him unload the truck since he didnt want to spend any money and hire people. The driver refused to unpack, reassemble, or take away any of the boxes.

We also had a suitcase and a lawnmower that was not ours delivered. The driver said he would take the suitcase back but would not take the lawnmower. I tried calling energizer moving from the 12th to the 15th of november to find out about my weight ticket since I needed that to file my moving claim through the government, but nobody answered. I called world wide vanlines and they said that I could not get the wight ticket because I signed a contract with Energizer saying that i changed my mover from total weight to a flat rate.

I stated this was untrue and faxed over the contract. World Wide received this and told me they didnt know what was going on and I should call Energizer. I finally got a hold of Energizer and they told me that the driver gave me all the paperwork and I was lieing. I told the man that the driver did not and had several witnesses that were there. Energizer said that he had his driver and all of his helpers there which I then informed him that the driver did not have any help.

Energizer then informed me that their driver was lieing to him and he was not informed about the missing suitcase and lanwmower and the driver said he payed $150 dollars, not the $60 he payed to my friend. I am still waiting on my insurance claim through Anthem Claim Management and after this ordeal I will not be surprised if I do not get payed anything.

To anyone who might use this company, good luck but I will never use it again. To the people who lost their suitcase and lawnmower, sorry about the suitcase and I still have your lawnmower even though energizer said they would pick it up...
