enterprise rental We rented a car and it was $1,985.00 more than we signed for Festus, Missouri
we were involed in a accident in 2005 when i contacted my insurance they said rent a car that they would pay for it. it took them 31 days to settle my claim i rented the car for $20.00 a day that is what was on my contract when i returned the car my wife called me and said these guy's want $1,985.00 for this rental i said how come our insurance aint paying for this she said she called state farm and the are not going to pay at all and that if she left the enterprise rental place they were going to call the police and have her arrested. well in my scurry i made several calls to managment and state government to no avail the all kept telling me it was a civil matter. and i got no luck with enterprise so i called my wife and told her pay it that there was nothing we could do at the at this time the total bill should have been $785.00 not $1.985.00 i still have not resolved this and now the statue of limitations have kicked in im told i contacted several attorneys and they are not intrested in this case. i was in the hospital for those 30 days and my wife was on her own and enterpirse really took advantage of her no doubt. well i have since rented from enterprise several times since then and i will admit so far no other problems i do however take pictures of the rental with my cell phone and document every little mark dent or scratch on it as well as have the salesman walk around the car with me and document all of it. and i pay cash in advance and i get a paid reciept showing paid in full before i leave the dam parking lot with the car thank you Alan Festus Missouri
