Evans Automotive Lied to me about getting smog done, took work from me in exchange and didn't hold their side of the bargain, broke a couple of things in my car and are denying it and all the while held a pathetically childish demeanor and professional candor in their attempts to extract more cash or 'free' work out of me before abandoning me and their promise. They showed evil in the face of goodness and from what I heard around town after the fact, they do it alot. Joshua Tree California

I just got had by John Evans and his sidekick, Ruby, who, through very unskilled manipulation and outright lies that I should of just walked away from in the first place, took me on a 6 day, sideways trip for a whole lot of nothing but what little money I have out of my pocket and time and energy uselessly spent. The reviews that you see here that are positive are spoofed, probably by him or her and there's not much to trust about this mechanic. He told me he could smog my vehicle even though it was modified, promised it even, and being short on funds, he accepted IT work for his wonky network issues, which I reluctantly served before he fulfilled his part of the bargain. I called him out on his lies, he threatened to call the police, I told him to go ahead, he then went on with more lies, fearful of calling the authorities and said my car would be done the next day. The next day he said he couldn't do anything for me.
Worthless.
