Dealing with Experian Inc since 2016 to demand its removal of an inaccurate record from its credit report of a Bankruptcy which was dismissed and never executed in 2012 showing $0.00. Without substantitated evidence, Experian refused to delete a fake BK from my credit report that constitutes fraud. Experian has grossly violated FCRA §1681s-2.

Further, Experian placed a "Security Alert" to my credit report without my consent causing more harm to my credits.

Moreover, Experian also refused to provide a FREE Annual Credit Report, which was requested since 2016 to this date. The fake BK and "Security Alert" in my credit report have caused me great harm to get a loan, or to apply for credit cards. I believe Experian takes advantage of senior consumers like me who is powerless, and have no money to hire an attorney to prosecute the unethical, immoral, and unconsionable operations of Experian.

If you did file for Bankruptcy, then it is too bad that your attorney didn't explain that even if you just file the Bankruptcy will be listed on your credit report regardless of the final disposition.  So if this is your Bankruptcy the listing is valid. Now, even though Bankruptcies can stay on your report for 10 years, after 7 you may have grounds to get it removed after 7 if it was dismissed.  But since you are only at about 6 years you still have a while before this can happen.

Security Alerts do NOT harm your credit, they just cause you to go through a couple of extra steps before you can obtain new credit in order to verify you are really the one requesting it. As for your free credit report, in order to receive that you must get it through the following site.

annualcreditreport  . com /

If by chance the link is redacted just go to "annual credit report dot com" (removing the spaces and putting a . for dot).  If you have a Fraud Alert on your report you will most likley need to download and send in the request through US mail.

Now, if you think you still have a case you don't need an attorney. If you are as familar with the FCRA as you think then you know you can do this in Small Claims and claim up to $1000 in Statutory Damages, plus any other verifiable damage this "invalid" listing caused. You may also be allowed to claim your court fees as well.
