Experian ALLEGES that you can get a free credit report. However, when using freecreditreport.com all the options available COST money. There is no visible link for an individual to request their FREE credit report. I guess they're just hoping that you will give up looking for the free and you want your report so bad that you'll just opt to purchase the FREE credit report that cost 40 bucks.

annualcreditreport.com is the website for the free credit report. freecreditreport.com charges you and enrolls you in their credit protection. Make sure you aren't enrolled in that or you will be charged monthly.
