Two teenage girls came to my house in July selling magazines for a fund raiser. Since I have 3 teens who also do fundraising, and the fact that these two girls were so bubbly, friendly and talkative, I fell for their pitch and bought an overpriced magazine for my son. I knew that fundraiser items are usually more expensive so I didn't question it too much. At least if I got the magazines.. Never did. I checked the receipt. You must cancel within 3 days yet in tiny print, it says "delivery within 120 days".
I have been trying to call them and I get an answering machine that says they are on the phone helping other "satisfied customers" and they cannot take a message. So I have to keep calling and calling only to not get through. Why would satisfied customers be calling them? I cannot believe they have these cute young girls involved in this rip off scam. Now I will stop donating to legitimate groups out of fear of being ripped off again!
