FACE TO FACE TECHNOLOGIES A RIP-OFF SCAM COMING TO YOUR TOWN Made claims to be giving proceeds to ADA but ADA had not assoc. with them Golden Colorado
I feel like a broken record of a good girl scammed! As other reports have said a nice young girl came to my home selling magazines. 2 yr. subscriptions with a processing fee. She claimed the proceeded fromt he first yr. sub. went to the Amercian Diabetes Assoc. and that they participate in their yearly walks for students. The second year sub. went toward points for her to win a free trip and cash reward. Of course after much talking and debate I felt she seemed on the up & up and paid her $57 by check. Later that night feeling "buyer remorse" I looked up the company and found this website and other who were also scammed. First I paid to have the check stopped-$32 more dollars! Then I contacted my local police and found out this company did not have a permit to be selling, then I contacted ADA and they said they have no association with this company. ADA asked me to document what had happened and fax the info. to them so they can look into the scam using their good name as a selling point. Next I am calling my local news to see if I can get the word out and maybe save someone else from being ripped-off. I have documented all my actions in case I am sent to a collection agency as other have been. So buyer beware!!!!
