I applied for a loan through this company and was approved for $15,000.00 and was told by Charles Foster, Loan Respresenative, that because of my credit history, I would need to secure it with a insurance deposit of $1440.00. I was told that it needed to be a MoneyGram made out to Teresa McGinnly and they strongly suggested that I do this from a WalMart store.

Like an idiot, I took my entire paycheck and sent if off to these people as requested. I received a call back 2 days later and was told by Gary Morgan, Customer Service Represenative, that after review, the company insuring this loan was now requiring an additional $1440.00 to secure it, by MoneyGram and made out to the same person, Teresa McGinnly.

I didn't have the money, so I asked my sister for a loan for the amount they were requesting and sent it off to them right away with the promise that I would send the money back to her next week. Here it is, a week later, no contact from anyone with Fairfax Lending Services. I have called and left several messages for someone to contact me. I evan faxed a message pleading for someone to contact me.

I am now going to lose my car, among other things. I want my money back. I truely feel like a complete idiot. Someone help!

I didn't lose as much money as you did, but I did lose all my fiancee and I had, money-wise. I know how it feels. I feel so stupid for falling for it because I was so blinded by my need for the money. I actually stopped myself from sending money to ROYAL TRUST but I'm even more stupid now because I encounter ROYAL TRUST AND I went along with FAIRFAX anyway. Well, honestly the only thing I can think of is maybe we can all somehow track them down if the law won't or can't for some reason. I want to keep nagging them and finding their new phone numbers in hopes to get my money back. What do you think? I don't know where to start on that, but baby steps you know? I hope to hear from you, my name is Annie.
