Well, first of all if you are out on job due to work related, YOU need to go ahead and get a lawyer, find or ask around(not to anyone that works with you)about a good work comp lawyer, most will not accept fees unless they win the case,if they lose you don;t owe them anything. You will need to get all your paper work etc.You need to contact worker comp of your state and see who and what services they can help with, I am not sure what it is, EE0,or something like that to assist with you.Remember w/c will do anything to minimize YOUR injury!I know, !! Turn in your mileage to Risk Management to going back and forth to the DR. make copies of every single piece of paper. Two, WATCH your back at work, GO by the book on everything.Since you are injured, you are to family dollar, a LIABILITY, they tend to get rid of ppl like this, Iknow, read my report... Watch what you say when you go back to work, if need to be take something with you to document information, (think about it , you will catch the drift,of what documentaion)take a daily diary with you every moment and second to log down everything that goes on at work that includes employees,DM's HR, get names of who ever you talk to at corp office, date of called, if you have cell phone use it to make any calls(you can use your cell phone bill to prove you have tried to do your part)I know it is a pain in the butt, you will have to keep on your toes, e-mail him what you talked about on what specific date, time, and what you both talk about, (if you are doing it at home or at the store, KEEP the e-mail with you and make several copies) send one to HR dept, print it up that you sent it and that they replied to you, like I say make copies of everything. If you have bad inventories and not good sales, and payrol out of wack, and not keeping control expenses down , you will not get a bonus or a raise, that is different from dollar general. Third, while you go back, or before you go back, seek more work somewhere else, go to a unemployment office or work force center and get one ready to line up after you are recovered, don't go in there saying anything what they did to you, etc.., put down reason for leaving "personal".I know it is hard while you have kids depending on, but face it you are going to have to leave sooner or later. The job is not only mental stress, but physicaly.I havent done this work in a while , and already my back etc.. is almost ruined, i unloaded trucks for over 14 years, you start having female trouble, you can get hernie or cysts, you can name it.I know you want to invest in a good job, I aplaud you for that and trying, but as a concerned bystander, invest in yourself, you can do better that family dollar, they are so cheap they dont care about anybody but themselves .Go back and put in family dollar under the search and read all of the comments about them, there is another site, that has over 3,000 bad reports about this company, they have more than wal-mart! Good luck, I will be getting you more information , so keep checking, hope the best for you!

Well, first of all I am sorry for what has happened, even though you may not hear it from them. That is the sad part about these companies, they make alot of promises that they don't keep. And as far as W/C, well I can say I know what that is, anyway, I will post something yo might need to look in, just keep checking, thanks
