Bought into this scam a long time ago.....should have consulted a lawyer, but was given a bunch of legal crap about the "contract" which apparently makes it legal to scam people. the contract was changed after we signed it, then had to pay a fee to upgrade and fix the problem --- we objected and filed a report, but they delayed it to the next year so we owed maintenance fees... So we were unable to use the first rear due to " unavailabilty" , but we could pay cash.... Go figure. Then in order to try to use the next year with " rolled over" points, we had to pay the maintenance fees....still not much available to us... But available to the public and for cash payment. had a sales person come to our home for the Adventure Club Launch --- he would not leave ---- 5 hurs later and it's pushing 11pm we signed a contract that we thought we had thoroughly went through ( really needed a lawyer to understand) and it is only available tons one time BS! So we signed it in hopes of being able to actually use what we had already invested.... Come to find out it voided our previous contract that we had just paid maintenance. Fees on ( those fees were supposed to be rolled into the new contract) Then we find out he did file the paperwork correctly so we had two contracts with 2 maintenance fees and could barely use the resorts for vacation due to availability and all these special rules that are indeed somewhere in the legal (need a lawyer to decipher) BS. festival contracted out the sales people that sold the Adventue CLub Launch so they could not possibly be responsible for their mistakes --- how smart of to contract others to do their scamming for them, then not be liable....

By this time we had so much of our very hard earned money tied up in this fiasco that we actually ended up paying more to fix the contracted guys error just so we could use the d**n thing --- voiding the 2 contracts would have cost almost the same, got the Bs run around and they continue to beat us to deat with " well it is in the contract" --- the contract an average person could never understand. We have brought this to about every managers attention when we do get to go on vacation... Most are sympathetic and appalled that the sales department. Is using these tactics. they themselves have contacted Vance gap and get the same run around....in the end it has been a financial nightmare. At present we own points with Advunture Club. We pay every two years for points that we were told were usable for two years.... Here's the catch, your "off year" there is a penalty assessed against your "PAID FOR" points of 150 days. So we have to wait until 150 days out to use our already paid for points to make a reservation. Of couse there is nothing available in high use places because the annual members get to use their points as of January of that year vs the wait 150 day out. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? But it is somewhere in the contract....that allows this ripoff. We have tried to sell this for half of what we have invested so they can turn around and make more $$$ It takes a special group of people to make a living off of others hard earned money and I hope it comes back to bite them in the $&@!!!
