I agree with Eric! It is the same story all over again. I feel so dumb, I paid cash but the guy gave me two receipts and his name is Goron? He hit me in the wal mart parking lot when I was bringing out my groceries. He was so persistent and my groceries were getting warm and starting to thaw out so I gave in. I went back home and thought what the heck did I just do!? I am an out of work, single, mother of twins. I need that money. I looked on the receipt, cancelled the following day and waited. They have given me all kinds of excuses and once told me they mailed out a check mar 27th. I have called numerous times since then and the same stories. honestly, there must be something we can do. That's stealing and isnt stealing against the law? I have no magazines and I do not have my money. I am calling the Naples Police Dept to file charges. I think everyone else should do the same. Bombard the Police Dept and maybe if enough people call something might be done. Otherwise we should take this company to court! We may even get more than paid out from them. And we wouldnt be handling any of the costs, they would. I am so with you Eric. If you find anything let me know and I will do the same. I have been waiting for my money since Jan! Naples Police Dept 239-213-4890. Christa

I was accosted at my front door when I opened it to let my cat go outside, not to answer the door. A very aggresive and friendly young woman, who would not take no for an answer or comply with my repeated requests to go elsewhere, finally coerced me into writing a check for $63 for one magazine subscription to be donated to veterans. I followed the instructions on the customer copy receipts and mailed one of them back via certified mail with a return receipt on Thursday, February 5th, the day after she coerced me. I also put a stop payment on my check but cancelled it the following Saturday because this company will refer a refused payment to a collection agency as a check written on non-sufficient funds. How they can do this is beyond me. Anyway, the address for Fidelity Readers Service and Editor & Chief Review, Inc. is the same address. I'm presuming that Belo Kellam is behind this latest "incarnation". The door-to-door salewoman was Yasmine Brower(Brawer?). The address on the receipt is: 3737 Domestic Avenue, Suite #3, Naples, Florida 34104; phone number for Customer Service: 239-659-0009. I called the phone number after I mailed the Notice of Cancellation and got a recorded message. There ought to be another law to protect us from these predators. If the mark/victim says "No!" then the predator has to leave or face being arrested, even if they have a permit to peddle. I not only said no and told her to go elsewhere at least twice, I left the storm door (locked, of course) and partially closed the front door to answer my phone and when I came back, she was still there!
