Fifth Third Bank Multiple, excessive overdraft charges Orlando Florida
Fifth Third bank opened multiple branches in the Orlando area in January of 2008.I opened an account as the payroll company that my job utilized had an account with them.
On the weekend of January 20th-22(a holiday weekend) I was charged overdraft fees in excess of $300.00-on an overdraft of a little over $400.
00.
I complained to my account manager Kim and the branch manager B arbara.Kim said they were told by the regional manager that if I filled out a credit application,they would remove $33.00,and if I filled out a home equity line of credit they would remove half of the overdraft.
I instructed her to close the account immediately.

you will probably be charged a fee to close your account since you had just opened it in January.
