As someone who has done a lot of business with First American Home Warranty Company in THE PAST, I advise you to be extremely careful when dealing with this company. I also had the exact same experience as you did, with the calls coming from Santa Rosa, ( First American Home warranty Company is based in Van Nuys, Ca.) After many MANY calls to the Van Nuys office, explaining that I was being called from a 707 area code they told me that the calls to Van Nuys were somehow forwarded to the Santa Rosa office. My situation was I had just paid for my renewal and I had some clown ( I think it was also Wally!) calling me over and over again telling me that my warranty was about to expire, then after serveral phone calls he started telling me my waranty had actually expired. I never EVER would give a credit card # out to someone who called ME. You should not either. Instead I was very persistent - and I do mean VERY persistent when I finally got thru to a "supervisor". I had documented each and every time this clown had called, the time he called, I saved each of his voice mails and played them to his "supervisor", then provided my contract number and method of payment I used to renew my home warranty. The "supervisor" apologized (ya right!) for any misunderstanding and said the information must have been on a old call list. If you need to speak with the President of First American Home Warranty here is his name and address: Mr. Daniel Langston, President First American Home Buyers Protection Corporation 7833 Haskell AvenueVan Nuys, California 91406 Telephone 818 781 5050
