Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
As of yet, I too, have not incurred late fees for my June payment which still has not posted after three weeks. My May payment posted in three days! I tried several different ways to get a live person to speak with and was finally able by acting as if I was going to make another payment to my account.

I was informed, as I'm sure the rest of you were, to just "write a letter" to the following address and it will be taken care of. As of this morning, my June 23rd checked that was mailed still has not cleared. I was informed last night that the mail might have gone to "the old address" and they are having "problems" with the payments being forwarded to FCNB's new address.

I refuse to pay any additional late fees which may be on my July statement. FCNB conveniently raised their fee $35.00 on the June statements just to suck all of us dry.

I will be filing an additional complaint with the Attorney General's office in the state of Florida.

Please contact me if there is any talk of a Class Action Lawsuit. I would be extremely interested.

I finally got a voice on the (516)number listed

#2Consumer Suggestion

I finally got a voice on the (516)number listed for cardmembersservices.net. I was so agitated when I found on the voice info that I had a late charge on my fcnb account and was never late. I called the (516) number, which is New York exchange, and pressed the pay by phone option. The lady says the Oregon site is no longer in business and they took over the payment processing for MBIA. If you have kept your payments up they will remove the current late charge because no one was available to process the payments sent to Oregon after the office there shut down. Payments were not processed for one week the first week of July. They are trying to catch up. FCNB had to agree to the take over of the bank as part of the settlement to hold spiegel harmless. If you have a Newport News acct. this phone number works for you. It should work for all of the accounts, but I am not sure. They will have a Hicksville N.Y. address for billing and paying she also said. So hopefully this will be straightened out soon. If you mailed a check don't stop payment on your acct. They will cash and post them and remove current late charges for this month. We are paying the guaranteer of our loans now not FCNB, because they have to pay all of the debts that were a part of the bankrupt action. If we stop payments on our loans it will cause you bad credit. I hope this info helps.
