First Consumers National Bank ripoff fraudulent/excessive overlimit and late fees Portland Oregon
I was both surprised and relieved to find that I am not the only one who has been over charged by this credit card company. I have two accounts with FCNB and been a customer for several years.
In the past year I haven't used my visa, yet it has constantly been over the limit. Early on I found that you never want to make the minimum payment because it's never enough and you will undoubtedly be charged an additional fee. In one example, I mailed my payment well in advance, but FCNB said they didn't get it in time due to a holiday(conveniently showed up the day after it was due). This caused a late fee which in turn caused an overlimit fee.
I am just happy to see that despite my making excessive payments to avoid fees and feeling as if something was wrong with me that I couldn't get a grip on this credit card, I am not the only one!
I'm definitely ready to take action on this company, sign me up!!
