First Link ripoff Internet
I was contacted by a man who represented "First Link" they told me that I was approved for a mastercard sponsored by monster.com. They told me it was zero percent apr for two years and I would also be getting a Dell computer with it. They told me if I had an extra 100 dollars in my account that I would also get a free digital camera.
I didn't have that though. Anyway I was told if I payed 300.00 I would recieve the credit card and computer. I thought this was a deal. They said the 300 was for paying for your benefits that the card provides.
This was going to be my first credit card so i didnt know too much about it.
They told me I would recieve the computer, and credit card in sixteen weeks. I never recieved them. I only recieved a box of coupons and an application for a credit card to "manage my credit"
They told me on my bank papers it would show that First Link withdrew the 300.00, which it did. I have been waiting for this computer until today when i seen a complaint on this website. I don't have very much money and they robbed me for 300.00 or 350.00 i can't remember because it was over 16 weeks ago.
