First National Benefits Tried to get bank account information in order to process a $12,000 federal grant Ripoff! Charlotte North Carolina
My husband just received a call this afternoon from a guy from First National Benefits informing him that he was qualified for a $12,000 federal grant. All my husband needed to provide was his bank account information and $29.99, and the $12,000 would be mailed out to him.
My husband (knowing better, thankfully) kept the guy on the line while he did a quick google search on the company and found the Rip-Off report. As soon as my husband told the guy that he found the report on the Rip-Off website and that all he was running was a scam, the guy hung up....without another word.
We did an search on the company's listed address on their website and address closest to John J Downy Drive in Charlotte, North Carolina is John J. Delaney Drive, which is a paper corporation.
For all we know these people are working from a laptop in some garage! Don't fall for it!!!!
