FotoSpirit Uses low price ad then sells only package with ripoff pricing. Will confirm cancelled order but won't readily credit account. Bala Cynwyd Pennsylvania
Company advertises low price for individual items, in my case a videocamera. When I called for availability, they didn't have individual items for sale, but had plenty available for sale in packages. The packages had cheap items that were marked up severely to generate the final package cost. When I balked, the offered the next package up at the same price as the first package. I placed an order, then continued to research pricing of the components in the package, warranty, lenses, filters, chargers, batteries, etc., I found that I could assemble my own package at a much better price. I called back to cancel my order and was issued a cancellation email. Nonetheless, my credit card was still charged and was not credited when the order was cancelled.
Bottom line, this is a bait and switch operation that does not offer good value in my opinion. Also, I think it is unethical not to credit a customer once an order is cancelled. Though they are nice on the phone, I recommend avoiding FotoSpirit.com.
Now I know that you, as a customer, can do much better buying your individual item through a reputable dealer like buydig.com or B&H Photo, then buy your accessories on ebay because the accessories are incredibly cheap and widely available.

Now I know that you, as a customer, can do much better buying your individual item through a reputable dealer like buydig.com or B&H Photo, then buy your accessories on ebay because the accessories are incredibly cheap and widely available.
