Freezone Nightclub discrimination, harassment Las Vegas, Nevada
Freezone, a long standing privately own bar & nightclub has had many reports of racism over the years. This racism has now turned into harassment against people of darker shades other than "white". At first the whole "No baggy pants" rule was and still is in great effect, but mainly for African Americans. No matter how tight some of the Patrons pants may be they are still turned away then giving the excuse that it is their dresscode policy. Yet they look at a Caucasian patron and immediately let them in after checking I.D.s of course, yet his/her pants are just as big and baggy! Currently, African Americans are harassed immediately upon entry into the establishment. They are made to buy several drinks before they can even touch the dancefloor or use the restrooms. Security shouts in their faces or yells to one another how many people in the party will be coming to the bar. It seems the Manager has put her Security into full force harassment mode. They follow larger groups of African Americans or Hispanics and push them into buying drink after drink. Due to the fact my friends and I have spent so much money here only to get this treatment upsets me!
