Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Problems with our Frigidaire refrigerator started before our 1 year manufacturers warranty was out. The ice maker kept freezing up where the ice comes out. We contacted Frigidaire and they gave us a name of a reputable repair person in our area. That didn't work out so well because they never came to look at the fridge but tried diagnosing the problem over the phone and then placing an order for a part that never came in. After getting fed up with that, Frigidaire gave us the name of another repair place. That particular company did come out, 6 times as a matter of fact. 3 times to look at the refrigerator and order parts and 3 times to put the parts on. The first repair was to replace the flapper where the ice comes out. That didn't work. The second repair replaced the whole entire freezer door. That didn't work. The repairman then said that Frigidaire told him this particular model was having this problem, so they came up with a little heater to keep the area defrosted. He installed that, but it didn't work either. Frigidaire then told our repairman that we basically were out of luck. He went on to say that we use the crushed ice function to much, and that is what is causing this problem. That beats all I have ever heard. First, we rarely use the crushed ice function. Second, if we used the crushed ice function every time, their piece of crap refrigerator should still work.

I then started calling Frigidaire's customer service myself. There was a major language barrier. I finally got out of them that the calls were actually being routed to the Philippines. None of the customer service people were helping me. I just kept asking to speak with a manager and finally spoke with someone in the USA. The last girl I spoke with there tells me they cannot give me full replacement for my refrigerator, only 70% because the manufacturer's warranty has expired. It was not expired when I started having the problems and it was the same ongoing problem that their repair people could not fix. This July will be one year we have been dealing with this issue.

I received the 70% offer letter back from the lady (almost one month later) and I don't have a choice of what brand I can purchase. I have to buy another one of their appliances. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Whatever Frigidaire. I will not buy another anything with your name on it. Your customer service is horrid and the product you make is the same.
