I initially found a faxed flyer for the Fun Travel Disney Orlando" vacation. It was noted at the bottom in large print Round Trip Airfare Included. When I initially called about this package, I asked them if the airfare was included? I thought they noted that airfare was included for both trips.

When I asked about setting up the vacation trip during the initial sales call. They noted that I had to go online and fillout the reservation request or wait for a travel package before I could get the travel details underway. I went online and filled the reservations request, I noted what day andapproximate time we wanted to fly: Sun (6/4/06) DFW to Orlando (fly out mid morning if possible) and Depart back to DFW on Tuesday 06/13/06 (mid day please).

No one from Funtime noted anything about this flight request. When they(Funtime) called about have a room availability during the requested timeframe. I asked her about the airfare and she then noted that no airfare was included for the Orlando trip. Then when we finally got the mailed package from Funtime I review the information, and found the statement about purchasing transportation. The reservation request form that came with the mailed package notes at the bottom:

"YOU MAY CANCEL THIS CONTRACT WITHOUT ANY PENALTY OR OBLIGATION WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE OR RECEIPT OF THE VACATION CERTIFICATE WHICHEVER OCCURS LATER." IF YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE SELLER IN WRITING OF YOUR INTENT TO CANCEL BY RETURNING THE ENTIRE PACKAGE AND SENDING NOTICE TO: FUNTIME GETAWAY INC."

I sent Funtime Getway a cancellation notice and the entire package which was mailed to our home. Funtime Refund Administrator H. Waite sent me back a response, noting that I did a electronic verification and I could not cancel the contract. If that's the case why do they have this cancellation cause on their reservation request form? Anyway, These guys got us for over $400, and we won't get it back!!! So beware using this company on these timeshare trips. Several others companies have much better refund policies!!

Who sent you the fax? The federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 (TCPA) prohibits the sending of unsolicited facsimile advertisements (i.e. junk faxes) to your business or residential fax machine - unless you already have a "business relationship" with the company on whose behalf the fax was sent.

I am an employee of the company reported..Fun Time Getaway. First of all the customer states he that 'air fare' was included. That is not only wrong it is ridiculous. How would anyone think you get come to Orlando for 4 nights, Daytona Beach for 2 nights, get two tickets to an Orlando theme park AND air fare for less than $400.00?? The fact is the person DOES have their money back and the delay was because he did NOT send the package back with his original letter and that is why he was denied a refund. I am so glad my boss found this and pointed it out to me. He thought it was humorous..........I feel insulted because I work at Fun Time Getaway and I know how hard everyone tries to please customers...........truthful ones. Jim W. in Texas has his money.
