Complaint Review: G ENERGY LLC - Nationwide

A friend of mine here in Henderrson, Nevada was contacted by G Energy several months ago by a telemarketer. The caller ID just provided a Nevada phone number, but no name.  The telemarketer from G Energy told my friend that if she were to have solar electric panels put on her home from G Energy that she would no longer have an electric bill and that she would be receiving checks in the mail each month from Nevada Energy (our electric company in Nevada) for the excess electricity that the solar electric system produced.  She was also told by the telemarketer that there was no cost for the system.  Now this friend of mine is 84 years old, is on a very low fixed income budget and was on the National Do-Not-Call list.  But she was still solicited by G Energy.

So my friend at first told the telemarketer she was not interested, but after nearly 15 minutes of slick salesmanship by the G Energy telemarketer, she agreed to have a "energy expert" come to her home and explain the program.  A few days later a young woman arrived at her door representing herself as a "energy expert" with G Energy.  I belive this woman's name was Jesssica, but my friend has not been able to find the business card that was left with her.

This Jessica ended up telling my friend that she would get over 30% of the cost of the solar electric system paid by the federal government and that she might even get some money next year from the state of Nevada and Nevada Energy if she purchased a solar electric system from G Energy.  The total cost of this system was over $40,000!!  Now my friend never ever purchases anything that would be a major purchase without consulting me and my husband.  So she told the salesperson (Jessica) that she would have to talk to a friend of hers first before going forward.  Well Jessica just came unglued that a decision couln't be made right away, called my friend names, repeatedly insuted her and wouldn't leave the home without my friend signing paperwork to purchase the system.  Jessica was at my friends house for over 2 hours before she left. finally in a huff!!  And without anything signed by my friend, thank God!!

Later that day my friend called me an told me the story.  I was going to report this to the police or at least put on the web, but we all ended up just letting it go.  Until I received a telemarketing call from this same G Energy a few weeks ago and saw the post on the ripoff report.

I've since done some research on this scam of a company called G Energy and the scam artist behind the scenes, Patrick Lewallen.  Patrick owes the Internal Revenue Service over $1,000,000 in unpaid taxes and apparently is currently under investigation for tax evasion.  He also owes several dozen companies and people money from several incidents over the past several years.  And this is in addition to the ten million plus dollars he owes due to his fraud conviction and judgment in the state of Arizona.  

G Energy LLC was organized in Nevada and still shows as being located in Nevada, but they only have one office, and that is in Phoenix, Arizona at 4801 E. McDowell Rd.  The ownership and paperwork for G Energy is covered up in Nevada's "corporate veil" laws, so getting down to who the real owner (Patrick Lewallen) is took a little doing.  Now if this was an "outstanding" company doing business in Arizona and Nevada, then why all the secrecy??

I wouldn't give the time of day to G Energy or Patrick Lewallen.  I would heed caution to anyone who is contacted by G Energy or Patrick Lewallen!!!   And how pathetic to use a story of having cancer to hide behind...
