Complaint Review: GadTech Systems - John Stratman - Jacksonville Florida

send a eMail to [email protected], Mr. Lewis Dempsey said ... So I got trained for 2 weeks but they never paid me. They wanted me to pay money to Laurie for Business Supplies for a New York Office.  

Everything said here is exactly what I experienced include the emails word for word. The only difference is the company name was Mirco Systems Inc. and the person is James Stover. Questions did immediately rise when asked to open an account. Then, I didn't provide a routing number (location to bank) to see if he would ask....no, he didn't. Furthermore, he didn't ask for a SSN (Thank God) so how was he going to report my income.... He did give me a website to look at but when I called the number, it too had been disconnected. It said the company location was in Texas (where I live) but he couldn't seem to get the whole "Central Standard Time" down. Yes, I too kept getting an IM that said "check back at 9 central." Also, what company has a website but when you do a search on the name it doesn't come up (hmmm.) Accounting reports he asked me to do were BS and did not provide enough information.. However, when asked about the $1800 for the computer, I told him that his finance company needs to wire the money directly to this "Laurie." He gave me an email for "corporate financing." So, that's what I told them. When I received a response, it was from a "Keith Renner." I did a search on this name and low and behold, google came back and said "I had one IM from him on my computer"...yes, it was this guy that I have been working with that went by the name "Mr. James Stover." Well, I am about to give this "Keith or James" the news that they can.....well, you know what I mean.

I am Constance and I was an employee of this company until reading this today. This man is pretending to be in the US and is actually in Nigeria-his real name is David Peterson. If you read the following email he tells on himself. I was sent exactly the same emails and was working for almost a month. I didn't open the Wells Fargo account though-that sounded too suspicious. He also tried to get me to pay for a Skype phone number in Florida. I was not about to pay for this 1) because I live in Texas and have no need for a phone number in Florida. 2) Because everytime I asked about getting paid he would get snippy and smart off to me saying the account department would get the information to me-I am not about to pay for something for this company and I haven't even been paid 3) Because that doesn't even sound right and it sounds like he is trying to defraud people. I spoke to this man on the phone and he had a Nigerian accent. I asked him why he had a picture of a white man in a suit on his messenger profile when he was a black man from the islands. I want to thank who ever posted this, I would have continued wasting my time sitting by the computer day in and day out while not getting paid. Also, this sounds so shady and he now has gotten MY name on a rip off site. I also set up a trial account for QuickBooks online and he said he would send the funds for it soon. ... what does Wells Fargo have to do with this? I can assure you it wasn't the company trying to scam you LOL. Good job on not getting scammed.
