Garage Door Parts Supply LLC Scam - Garage Door Parts LLC out of Passaic, NJ Passaic, New Jersey
One of our technicians put an order in to this company online for some garage door parts. They sent us an email with shipping payment information. I called to see if I could give them a credit card number because we needed the parts quickly. I left a message on their answering machine. Never heard back. Seemed a little fishy.
Since they would not call us back, we looked online for another supplier and found one with a very similar name and the gentlemen on the phone told us that he gets phone calls all the time from angry customers wanting their garage door parts (from the bogus company). He explains that he is not the bogus company and that his company name is off by one word. He directed us to RipOffReport.com to check out the bogus company's complaints. We did.
While we didn't lose any money on this transaction, we feel that we should warn others. We could have been out over $200 if I would have mailed the check.
