I, too, ran into the same problem with Gardener's Choice last spring. I ordered two of the Palonia Trees, sent in a check for them, and never got them! Their resoning was because "they ran out of them too quickly". Finally, I got my refund, although it entailed many threats and e-mails, and long distance calls on my end! I think these trees are just "come-ons" to try and get your business for other more pricey items. I learned through other credit card experiences .either deal with a check or make darn sure you know the reputation of the company involved. Hope I helped in letting you know I got "taken" too!
