We recently purchased a bed frame and mattress for my daughter from Genesis as advertised on their website (http://genesiscustomfurniture.com/clearance_items). The correct mattress set as advertised in the web ad was not provided but we were given a sub-quality mattress which was tagged as refurbished and constructed of used materials. This was not disclosed in the ad, when the purchase was made or at the time we picked up the items.
I asked that Genesis Custom Furniture arrange for and deliver at their own expense the correct pillow top mattress as shown and advertised on their website ad and remove the refurbished set provided to my daughter. It is my opinion that Genesis engaged in bait and switch and misrepresentation in this transaction unbeknownst to my daughter or to me. My demand for reconciliation via a letter delivered in person to someone identifying himself as “Julio V.” and the store manager have gone unanswered and rebuked. We are now looking to file a lawsuit, and are pursuing investigation of their criminal activities with the appropriate agancies.
