GIC Charged fees on "free offer" to my checking account Boca Raton Florida
On October 3, 2008, I ordered what was reported to be a "Free 30 day trial" of two products, Acai Berry Supreme, and Total Cleanse. I was told taht all I had to pay was $5.95 shipping & handling to receive my "Free" order.
Within about a week, I received my order of 60 capsules each, to be taken in doses of 2 capsules (each), once a day. in other words, the total amount of product was a 30 day supply. In the paperwork that accompanied my order, the price of each product was listed as being "$0.00," and the total cost was listed as being "$0.00."
On Saturday, November 1st, I discovered that my checking account had been billed $78.84 for these two products on October 30, 2008.
Nowhere in the literature that arrived with the product did it say I would be billed any amount at any time. Nowhere did it state a value of the product, other than "$0.00.". Since the price of the product was listed as being $0.00, GIC has no way of proving that I ever agreed to pay more than the shipping & handling for my "Free 30 day trial."
When I visited the web site ( https://secure.ebizprogram.com/checkout1.aspx?bid=fcaaf595-8e93-404b-8e33-bc159166e501 ), I found a link to return instructions. When I opened that link, I discovered that they allow for a 15 day free trial, not the full 30 days they claimed when I ordered my product.
When I tried to contact the company to report my dismay, their phone number did not work. On their web site, there is no contact information for the company, other than the non-existent phone number.
This is a scam, and one which I cannot afford. I am currently unemployed.
I hope you can help me recover the $78.84 that has been stolen from my checking account, and that you can help to put this company out of business, and its owners behind bars.

Okay so have you tried using your FINGERS for things other than poking your nose? Did you miss the part where eveyone complains about the phones!! yes mam your phnes are ALWAY busy... we are UNABLE to get through .. guess what that means??? we are unable to cancle w/in the 14 days... We can be held responsible to an extent.. because there is nothing we can do when the PHONES don't work.... So I suggest everyone files complaints w/the attorney general for florida.. i believe there are several on file already..
