Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I bought a Jeep Wrangler from this dump and it was by far, the worst dealership ever. For starters, every time you call the dealership, youre getting something automated and also
expect for your sales person or manager to NOT be at their desk and to not
return your phone call, no matter how many notes or messages you leave with
the customer service lady. The service department has no idea about any deals
you make at the time of the sale-so dont bother asking them.

These guys want to rip you off of every dollar so if by some chance you make
the mistake of buying a vehicle, make them fix everything thats wrong with it
and make sure its in writing. Seriously, theyll fight you down to putting an
extra screw into something if you dont have it written out.

Now on to my Jeep, after one week (to the DAY) of owning it, the timing belt
went out and I had to have it fixed myself
($500 problem) but that was after
the sale, so they didnt care. They had my money. They offered nothing in
exchange for this problem, absolutely ZERO service-after-the-sale.

My sales rep Steve was complete clueless when it came to Jeeps, trying to watch him take the top off of my Jeep was painful to say the least, I don't think that guy could pound sand down a rathole. Luckily, I knew enough about them to figure everything out beforehand. Once the deal was made, he copped an attitude with me as if he was in a position to tell anyone what to do.

That hey youre no longer important attitude didnt work with me because Ill
just belittle a car salesman like the low-down, snakes they are. The sales
manager Ryan Tuttle ended up leaving me a voice mail indicating he was going to cut me a check to fix my AC Condenser elsewhere (10 days ago) and
guess what? No check arrived in the mail yet
and Im supposed to call back next
week because of the holiday because their finance department is closed.

*This place had made an agreement with me to fix or have fix the issues with my Jeep pre-sale and have yet to follow through with it all.*

Also, They have no rental car service, so just expect to be screwed if you need any
work done to your vehicle for an extended period of time. The place is a total
unprofessional joke and a completely dishonest and corrupt car sales lot.

I strongly urge you to listen to this review; these people do not care about
quality service and nor is it worth spending your hard earned money here. There
are plenty of places to find a car, take your time, test drive plenty and dont
be in a hurry. Youll find that this dealership giant American Flag should be a
giant RED flag to avoid this place at all cost. Do not buy from Glenbrook Dodge.

Timing Belts

The timing belt, not to be confused with the serpentine belt, fan belt etc, is INTERNAL.  The only way to inspect it is to open up the front of the engine.  At 91k, which is what I thought you said was on this, it was due at least one timing belt change at 60,000.  They would have no way to prove that was done unless bthe owner at 60,000 provided paperwork.  But at $500 you do not know how lucky you are!  If it was an interference engine, then the breaking of the belt would have caused tons of engine damage and require probable replacement.  However, at $500, I question what exactly you received for your money.  Seems low for a professional job.  When you replace the timing belt, it is customary to also replace the water pump, tensioner(s), pulley(s) and front engine seal.  All these parts become exposed when you replace that belt and it makes sense to replace them while you are there.  If you did not at least replace the tensioners, chances are your new timing belt will have a short life!

Bad business

2003 Jeep Wrangler, 91k miles and I did get a good deal. I used the leverage from my Honda Fit to get it down. I know and understand it was a used vehicle but my salesman lied and told me it went through a 100 point inspection before I had even pulled in the lot....I guess the timing belt must have been the 101th point. No matter what they excuse, used vehicles have problems but buying ANYTHING from a dealership that big shouldn't break down the first week of ownership.

Yes, I got the pre-sale agreement in writing and like I said, I have a voice mail of the sales manager claiming to mail me a check,...10 days ago. Still nothing.

I'm not just some pissed off idiot that is mad at a dealership, they've lied to me, treated me unfairly and even worse of all, not honored their claims they've made in writing, pre-sale.

Its very bad business.

I am figuring this is a USED vehicle.  You never mentioned the Year, how many miles and how much you paid for it?

The other question is in this "Pre-Sale" agreement that they would fix anything.  Did you get that in writing?
