Global Or United Benefit Said they were offering a benefits package for $2.99 and debited $299 Champlain New York
In August of 2003 a company called. They said they were offering an unsecured credit card and they were asking a $2.99 membership fee. They didn't debit and we called back. They claimed to have a computer mix up and then resubmitted the check debit but not for $2.99, for $299 on September 12th, 2003.
We didn't catch it until today and called them. They are claiming to be having problems with their computer. We also never recieved a package and they claimed to also have problems with fed ex. Fed Ex Said they are not at that address. I am going to dispute this charge with my bank. I hope the FDIC insured helps!
Do NOT believe anything they say. They won't even offer the name of their company. I'm lucky I got the phone number. They also claim to respresent 14 other companies.
