I sign up for hosting for 1 year in March 2008 and paid the fees by credit/debit card.

In August, 2008, I received an email that said they would upgrade my package and charge my bank account if I did not refuse the offer. I did not want it and missed the part about "AUTO-UPGRADE" if I don't DENY the offer. By "NOT DENYING" does not constitute an authorization to hit my bank account. I called and did get a refund. I told the to cancel my web site and remove me from any "Auto RENEWAL or UPGRADE TRICKS". I have not visit my site since I got my refund.

Now on Feb 10, 2009, (11:11:04 AM)I get an email saying my renewal of "$118.30 will be charged to my account on or before 2009-03-18". and "you must cancel your account at least 30 days before your renewal date".

Also on Feb 10, 2009, (1:41:51 PM) another email is received, "we have processed your invoice 4047700 in the amount of $118.30 and the charges have been approved'.

I did not read my email until early Feb 11, 2009. When am I supposed to cancel the renewal. Emails 2 hours apart. My bank said since it was a debit card - it was between me and GLOBAT.

I spent hours with there run around, DEMANDING to speak to someone in billing -- I was told I could only do that by email -- NO HUMAN VOICE CONTACT was available.

I did call the local, Richmond, VA., FBI Office and was told to got to IC3>com and file a FBI complaint. I did that.

Today, Feb 12, 2009, I get a email from GLOBAT, that says my account was cancel and the refund will be sent in "the early May cycle". This is CRAP.

I will contact the FBI office again tomorrow with this crap. Globat seems to have a very slick person/attorney to send all the paper work to cover their a*s , meanwhile make use of my $118.30 until "Early May", assuming in fact they intend to send it at all. I blasted back an email to "billingdeskATglobatDOTcom" saying that is NOT ACCEPTABLE". Surely someone is sitting at the "billingdesk".

This is ludicrous and should be legally pursued. I am a Totally disabled Viet Vet and that $118.30 was stolen from my monthly disability check (aka: my "BLOOD MONEY"). GLOBAT has just started a NEW WAR for me, I wiil SURVIVE and prevail!!!
