I just want to let anyone know if you read this take notice and do not even consider buying any type of insurance from Globe Life Insurance. They are like a rash across the Internet from the BBB to Ripoff Report. I'm letting you know now not to deal with them, period.

You will avoid any pitfalls most people have experienced by the time they get here to Rippoff Report. I was told by the Texas Dept of Insurance if Globe Life didn't not pay off on a policy I had with them I could request to get my premiums back. I was leaving the country and did not want to pile on $40 on top of my premium payment just to pay for my policy. The $40 comes from bank wire fees, so I requested my premiums back.

I was completely convinced I was getting my premiums back. I started my request for a refund on 12/12/2014 and did this deliberate back on forth with Globe Life agents with emails. I never dealt with the same agent, I gave my info to them and another email would come across requesting the same info, again from a different agent. Long story short, I get an email from another agent saying my policy was cancelled. A few days go by and I email Globe Life again asking how my refund would be handled. On 12/30/2014 I get an email stating, upon cancellation there would be no refund.

If I had not followed up and asked about the refund Globe Life would not have even told me I would not get a refund. Not once in this 19 day back and forth did Globe Life ever ask me why I was cancelling and if I was aware I would lose all my money paid into it? I did not read this in my policy and if I had, I would not have purchased the policy. They deliberately held back important info concerning my decision making process and just let the policy get cancelled to gain my premiums.

What is going on here is the same fraud Country Wide and the banks perpetrated on mortgage holders by denying them just how lousy their loans were and how most would not be able to qualify for the loans if loan companies had not withheld info from them. Insurance companies should have fail safe measures written into policies that makes them become more proactive with the policy holders and Globe Life could have cared less. Once the request was made to get my premiums back, their customer service went out the window and their ripoff behavior went into affect.

Just do yourself a favor, don't deal with them... period!
