september, 2012 i opened a 30 day escrow to purchase a home in colorado.  as the close of escrow was approaching, my realestate agent and i became comcerned because the finance company had not ordered the home inspection and would not provide any current information.  at that time i had a point of contact.  i spoke with the individual and demanded action within 48 hours.  at the end of the 48 house the finance company contacted my real estate agents and advise them that an inspection was ordered.  it then took, two weeks for the inspection to take place. 

during this time, an extension had to be requested and i was at the verge of being homeless because i had given the 30 notice at the apartment building that i had temporarily rented.  both myself and the sellers are now encountering additional expenses that were not expected.  i attempted to make direct contact with three managers and the owner of gotmortgage and left several messages. 

to date, i am still waiting for a return call or some sort of response.  i was advised by the individual that referred me to gotmortgage that they do not communicaate with the public even though that is where the obtain their income.  since that time every week there appears to be a new issue.  my real estate agents have managed to find a way to communicate with the owner and an underwriter.  the only information that gotmortgage will report is things are processed differently from colorado and that the underwriter is working on the file. 

the underwriter has now had the file for almost a month, with still no close of escrow date.  it is unreasonable to expect the sellers to continue our contract and we are not entertaining any further extensions.  at the point in addition to my storage cost that have accumulated, i will more than likely loose my earnest money.  thanks to gotmortgage, this venture has been nothing but a loss for me.
