In this company they told us that we would be driving 2007 trucks, lie! 2000,beat up and not D.O.T quality..i got send to a place in peru, Ill. and lost 10 hours while they tired to fix my speedomitor and no pay and didn't fix the problem. I ask them 3 times out of the six weeks I work there to get me a truck with a working speedomitor. they told me no and all the other trucks where for the other people . I had to use my GPS to tell me how fast I was going. The miles they pay are zip code miles. You have to wash out the trailers and thats your time.constant fueling on 50 gallon tanks. went to use to washer window wipers at night in a constuction zone and got some kind of oil solvent all over my window and couldn't see. the head machanic just laught when I told him.

34 cents a mile ,a lie! 31 cents and the 3 extra cents is a bonus you'll never see. and your losing about 100 miles a day.if not more

no D.O.T. stickers on rightside of truck.drive tires where bad, exhuast leak under the cab.trailer switching the leg on a trailer had to be cut off.lost 2 1/2 hours for that.

Fifth wheel didn't hook up to the trialers right. A lot of the place that we went to like Tyson chicken aways had the trailers to high so you would go right under them.At night its hard to see this.

a few places I waited out 16 hours for a load.hurry up and get there.

If things change where we will only be running 8 hours a day, these companys will have to pay by the hour and should. You shouldn't have to wait from 3pm to 5 am for a load, and I see more truck wrecks off the road for this reason.all the hours lost sitting there in these places.over the road shouldn't be.these trucking companys and shippers to recievers should get us in as fast as we get there. I covered Iowa,In,Oh,Mi,Pa.Ill and in this over the road crap you wait at these places, thats your time your not making nothing.these company our getting away with this crap.makes us wait hours to get a load.If I live in Ohio I should meet some one form say Iowa in Indiana and switch loads.and get pay by the hour and not the load or % or miles.

As truck drives we need to make these companys own up.

I work for several other company from JTI Transport  In Walbridge,Ohio who did the same thing, you deliver a load an sit a wait till they find something else witch could be hours.then your running out of hours but that load has to be there.

Over the road in a day cab when they told me that I would be kept local,Lie,a lie!

The steel industry is another big rip off to the driver to sit and wait most place to get a load you could be there for hours and to unload, you only get 19% of the load.So you work 17 hours and come home with $80.00 dollars. American Movers out Of Toledo,Ohio drop us from 26% of load to 20% of load.and had fueling card issuses.

So I agree these trucking company, form the shipper to the reciever needs to work together more efficantly. And some of the trucks you are driving you need to say no too.like I did,I may not have a job ,but its not wroth getting into or have big problems.

After I quit Gray transport. They said that they would charge me for the hotel room, the bus fair, and D.o.T. physical. and later to find out hat they would chage me the a dolly leg on the landing gear that fell down as I was moving.

It was on a thrusday afternoon,I got to Jolsin ,Ill to pick up a trailer,as I backed underneath it,it was to high, the landing gear was bent back as though it had been set down and drug forward.so I could not roll it down,I call the yardman and his tractor over after I was stuck there for a while.he then back under ,lifted up the trailer and I could roll the legs up some,He set it down and then I backed under it to find out the fifth wheel would not enguage,I finally got that fixed and as I rolled up the landing gear walk aroud the trailer for the pretrip and found a marker light that had not been fixed, for the wires were rusty and old ,yet it said that it had just been inspected.

so as I started to move out the landing gear let go on the right side of the trailer.I drove just a little ways and had to wait for some one to come cut off the dolly leg.

there equitment is old, poorly maintaned, and then when it breaks they want to charge you for it,

DON"T WORK FOR A OUT OF STATE COMPANY IF YOU CAN HELP IT!!
