Everything that was said is true. Responded to an ad yesterday on Craigslist that said $20/hr, went to an interview with about 25 other people in a empty conference room with a whiteboard, wooden chairs, and a radio blasting music. The office was empty and looked like it had recently been moved to. A man by the name of Mr. Ingledue came in and presented the whole scheme saying that we make $20 an hour presenting these filtration systems and thats all we have to do, if someone happens to buy one then you get an additional $100. Then he said to call later on to see if we got the job, I called and was hired. I ended up telling my dad the job I got and he asked the company name. That's when I realized I had no clue what it was. So I did some research and found out thatit goes by many different names: Health - mor, HMI industries, Filterqueen, Michigan quality air, F and D distributors...ETC. I then found all of theserip off reports about the company and they are all true. The company makes you try and sell to your friends and family, and they requireyou to go to at least 15 presentations a week. What they don't tell you is that theyve purposely hired far too many people so that there isn't enough presentations to go around. So every employee ends up getting only like 5, by the time the pay periodcomes around no one is payed becausethey did not reach the 15 presentations goal. The company does this on purpose so you sell there product, which is highly marked up, for free, so that if you by any chance happen to sell one they get all of the money. By the end of the two weeks when no one is payed, they all quit, the company lays low for awhile, and then relocates to a new office under a new name, and starts the hiring process over again. This company is sick, and they pray on the unemployed who are in need of money and use them for their own benefit. Its a waste of your time, and you'll end up going in the hole from paying for gas. They will not pay you. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. the address in Shelby is 51258 Oro Rd. Shelby Township, MI, and you can reach them at 586 477 2500

OMP Distributing, 3549 Airport Rd, Suite 108, Waterford, Michigan still going strong in July 2011. Yes April is still there..... talking faster than humanly possible. I am grateful to all the previous reporters for their sacrifice. I went to initial session and was told they were looking to fill One position. I made the call later that day and was told I got the job. I then did a search and found this report. It all smelled fishy in the first place. The ad I responded to was for "display". When I got there April would not answer any questions during the session or later on the phone about the "dealieo". No mention of how much these "air filters" cost or any other details for that matter. I called today and asked what products they sold and I was told they didnt sell products but they did "air pollution research". Please don't waste your time with this one.

Both of you are right on. This is how this company and its parent companies, Health Mor and Filter Queen operate. Shady and not trustworthy. It is, in essence, a pyramid scheme. April at the Waterford, MI location is very shady and so is her company. I know of many people who were lured into their trap and wasted several days of training for this job, only to later find out that they must sell a certain amount in a week. This is after they have given $30 for insurance that they never get back. A few people succeed at this, and the rest give their money for insurance and get some referrals and quit, and this is what the company has planned all along. Read up on April, Greater Air of Michigan, Health Mor, Filter Queen, etc. That's what I did after my first 2 days of training before I paid the money for insurance. Sure enough, all of the aforementioned people and companies are all over bad business and rip off reports all over the web, associated with words such as distrustful, shady, lying, not paying, scam, scam, scam. I printed out reports of all this before the third day of training started and distributed it to the other people before they went in, in order to warn them. Boy, was she perturbed. At least I think I helped some people out that day and saved them some hard earned gas money and time. All in all, their product isn't revolutionary, they operate in a pyramid scheme, no one in the company can be trusted, and they are a SCAM. STAY AWAY.

Your post was very detailed and right on. I can tell you paragraphs 1-9 are exactly what I experienced. Paragraph 11 is a true statement as well. There are a couple issues with this, but the main one is price. They want you to charge about $3,000 for a complete system. You can buy this same product for around $500 to $750 on Internet auctions sites and some retail sites/locations as well. You are told to practice on friends and family. They know you could sell maybe 1 or 2. If 10 people do this over a weekend, well do the math, it's a huge profit for a weeks work. I was suspicious from the start, but things at work were slow, so figured what the heck, I'll check it out too. I am concerned. I filled out an application. I am watching very, very closley. I have names and photos of everyone I came in contact with. I want to stress this: Nothing has happened. I will update this site, if anything else worth reporting happens. There are many other similar reports on this site. The companies involved are affliated with Filter Queen and Health MOR. I encourage anyone considering working for these companies to READ and RESEARCH. Good luck to all.
