Green Tree Servicing ripoff sent a notice of default in which we are given 30 days and are calling harrassing and threating us Rapid City South Dakota
We have been struggling for a while now and are 2 house payments behind. We received a letter given us 30 days to pay the behind amount. Which they are also calling us saying they are just going to start the proceedings because we are liars.
My husband lost his job and we notified them. we always touch base with them. My husband is getting his 401k and we told them we would catch up all our payments. They said they could not wait for a week. They said they are going to send the sheriff out after us and make us leave our home which we have 4 kids.
We have been called lazy hillbillies. We have been called liars. They have asked us what our medical bills are for which I know they have no legal right to do. I know HIPPA.
We have been told to pawn off our clothes, tv, kids bikes, our furniture, our vehicles, everything we own that isn't trash. I even had a conference call along with Fidelity and Green Tree so they knew we were not lying about the 401k and they called back the same evening and called me a liar again. Even called my husband dirt under his fingernails. When my husband asked for his last name he hung up on us. This is a weekly almost daily ordeal with them.
They are the most rude company I ever dealt with. They even called our parents bums because they couldn't lend us the money because they are disabled. I told them I hoped they were recording our conversation and again they hung up.
