After purchasing the Green Dot Premier Card, I was told on the telephone I could receive a $10.00 rebate for upgrading to my existing Green Dot Card. I went online using the information they gave me. The instructions for doing this do not exist in any of the paperwork sent to me with my new card. I could not get to the site. After many attempts, I called Green Dot Customer Service and she walked me through the instructions...saying...go to greendotonline.com/rebate. After hanging up with her I tried this and got the same result. No page found. I called back and said I wanted someone to do this for me. It should not be this difficult. She told me the website again but this time it was changed.... go to greendotonline.com/premierrebate...... This time it worked. However, you will need the 19 digit activation code for your new card. I did not have mine readily available but the young lady knew how upset I was and she provided me with the code. That code appears on the paper card you purchase at the retailer. I explained to the young lady that this was entirely too nerve wracking. The rebate is there but you will have to work for it. I hope this helps.
