" The interest rates are horrible, I will have another 17 years to pay off this mobile home. That is like paying 3x what its worth."
Is the interest rate the same as what was agreed to?
"After it was decided I was to keep the home in the divorce, I called to ask what I could do to get the mobile home loan switched over into my name. Their response was nothing. They will not change the names on the original loan.."
To get them to do this, you would probably have to get approved for a loan on your own and pay this one off. They won't change the name on the loan as your ex appears to be responsible for it.
"This company should be ashamed of themselves."
For what? All they want is for the loan to be paid on time, every time and your ex IS the one responsible for repaying this loan. Once again, what part of the agreement are they breaking?
"They call repeatedly if a payment is even a day late."
".hearing him complain every time I am late on a payment.."
Don't worry, this won't be a problem for long, if you continue down this road, they'll eventually foreclose.
