Hawking Technologies (USA) ripoff does not honor their rebates gives run around for a year Irvine California
Dear Sir,
I think Hawking Tech is a big scam as they do not honor their rebates. I had bought wireless router and they had a rebate of $75 which I sent right away. It is more than six months now I am waiting for my rebate which was approved on 10 October- Ref. I.D cyvt-5880-1824 . I have called Rebate Centre several times and every time I am told that the cheque will be in the mail within 2 to 3 weeks. To date there is no cheque. Every time I have to wait for long periods to get the Supervisor and of course the reply is the same and no action.
Today I called again and I was told that theirComputers were down and I should call back after an hour. When I called again I got the same reply and the girl who responded to my call was rude and hung up on me. I consider this highly insulting. This is like pouring salt on customer's wounds.
I am now fed up with the attitude of their staff and feel that Company has no intention of honoring the Rebate offer. On going over the web, I notice that several people have been having the same problem.
I consider Hawking Technology Inc Company's attitude a Highway Robbery. I think consumer alert should take some action.
I am still waiting for my rebate as they keep saying it is being processed.
