We are successful in maintaining long-term business relationships by providing only the best combination of service, price and coverage to each of our clients.
This is the same approach that guided us in our effort to help Weldon obtain the best coverage, price and service for his personal automobile insurance in May 2002.
Weldon requested a quote for new personal automobile insurance through our agency while maintaining his existing coverage through another agent.
We offered our best quote based on information provided. No application was signed or received. No money or down payment exchanged.
When new underwriting information came to light we estimated the impact to be about 10% however, after submitting information to the insurance company, the result was an increase of approximately 35%.
A revised quote was promptly provided to Weldon. Each quote was accurate when given based on information available and changed only as new information came to light.
At the same time we had a commercial insurance policy in force for Weldon covering his business. The commercial policy was not canceled or denied, however, because of his intense expression of displeasure and reaction to the the personal auto quote, we offered him a choice of canceling his commercial policy at no cost if he wanted to; the commercial policy remained in force another four months before being canceled for other reasons in September 2002.
