i would like to revise my original report on Home Town Restyling as being a very bad company to do business with. Well even though i did not get all my money back from home town,i did get $5,038.75 after i took them to court to try and get a total restitution for the poor quality windows i did get from Home Town Restyling.i was counting on the owner wayne winn to step up to the plate being a top business owner to come to our rescue even after we won our court judgement and fix the windows that are still an issue, but he never did and that is what would have really made my wife and i very happy with the Home Town Restyling experience. We did get some of our money back but the truth of the fact is all we wanted was Home Town Restylying to do is replace the windows and make it right, not with cash but with service and compassion for there customers like they advertise on there commercials. But they never did and they wanted my wife and i to write that we are totally staisfied with the settlement we got from Home Town Restyling but we can not say we are very happy and got what we wanted and that Home Town Restyling treated us super,They did not treat us like family and they did not treat us with compassion. That is all we wanted and we can not report something that is not true.We actually only got $3,500.00 dollars back since we were totally rippedoff by Lynch Dallas Law Firm Who scammed us for $1,500.00 dollars saying they could help us get our money back and that they had experience in issues with window law suites, when infact they had no experience in dealings with windows and Ryan Sawyer our attorney jut lead us on when several other attorneys we talked to after Lynch Dallas scammed us said to go to small claims court, that was 3 different attornies advised us to go small claims when Ryan Sawyer of Lynch Dallas said he could get our money back,He did not get out money back but cost us even more money .So as for Home Town Restyling goes they offer as service but have little compassion when it comes to customer compassion. If wayne winn after small claims hearing would have said that he would promise to come over and replace and make right the windows that are falling apart i would be very happy to write a report praising Home Town Restyling but all i can say is We got $5,038.75 when intern we should have gotten all our money back or top customer service which would have been having all the windows replaced with good windows and treated like we were told we would be treated insted we were treated like we were just another pay check to them. Now if Home Town Restyling wants to come to our home and rplace the windows that are falling apart with new windows,My wife and I will be glad to type that Home Town Restyling did us a top knotch job and that we are very happy with there product and there service. So we would welcome home town restyling with open arms to come to our home and take out the windows we have from the company which closed and replace them with ones that are of a far superior quality.Until then all we can say about Home Town Restyling is They need to care more about there customers than there wallets. Please Home Town Restyling come back to our home and put in the windows and basement door that we paid you for. Then we will be glad to right you a job well done satisfied reply on ripoff.com

I'm curious as to what the humidity level in your home is? Can you provide some basic information such as outside temperature, inside temperature and humidity level inside the home? Windows do not by themselves produce moisture. However if are getting massive amounts of condensation on your new windows that is an indicator of even greater problems. What you describe seems to me to be a ventilation problem and in that the windows are still probably the coolest surface in your home, the humidity problem will first show up there. New replacement windows are often so tight that the moisture levels in your home can be aggravated by them as they no longer ventilate your home the way your old windows did by allowing air flow through them.
