It's very simple if you purchase a product in ample time, you should receive that product. My wedding is Nov. 1st and my bridesmaid dresses are not in. I am now 10days away from my wedding. I am in total shock how you can purchase a dress 4 to 6 months in advance and still not receive your dresses. What shocks me the most is the lack of empathy from House of Brides as well as their lack of compensation. I was told my dresses would be in by September. However, September came and went. I contacted HOB and then was told the first week of October. Now we are in the third week of October and still no dresses. All dresses were ordered by the June deadline and some were even placed in March. It is shameful the scam that this bridal shop is running. After reading these reviews and knowing that over a 100 people maybe even more have been through this something has to be done. I just do not understand how HOB is still up and running when they have ruined hundreds of weddings. They speak to you  as if it is not an issue that your dresses will be in a week before your wedding. When questioned about the conditon of the dresses once they arrive and the possible need for a size change or damages to the dress, their reponse is that a weeks notice is sufficient. Well let me break it to you, it is not. Right now I am between a rock in a hard place because I have bridesmaids with unique body types so picking gowns off of the rack and purchasing them is not an option for me especially when I have five bridesmaids with a dress. I am forced to have alterations done by HOB because tailors will not be able to alter a dress in less than a week time and I say that being hopeful that the dresses arrive this week with no damages. When asked about compensation for alterations, I was told that they will not be any compensation. I asked to speak with a manage and was sent to voicemail. My bridesmaid as well as my mom who also purchased dresses for my sisters have appeared in the store in person and called to no avail. This sitation is enough to put a huge damper on the most important day of your life and HOB can care less. I strong advise noone to shop here and go else where. It is seriously not worth it. I will be contacting BBB regarding this matter. I was repeatedly told that my dresses would be in in September or at least a month before the wedding and here we are 10 days away and sitll no dress or evidence that the dresses will be here this week. All contact I have made to the HOB establishment. Not once has a representative from HOB took the initiative to contact me and inform me of the delay in shipment. All I continue to here is that it is not HOB's fault but the manufacturer's fault. Well guess what HOB employs the manufacturer so therefore it is your fault. If this problem continues to occur as evident by these reviews why continue to use the same manufacturers? There are really no words for this bridal nightmare. I really dont understand how a cooperate company can be ran in this matter and I dont know how you associates sleep at night knowing you have ruined someones most important day of their life. Less not to mention your prices are not the most affordable!
