This breeder doesn't even care enough to read the complaint carefully enough to see that Mange was not nor never has been the issue. My vet is refered to Dr. XXXX as I have not had permission from him to publish his name over the internet. House of Carmel never asked for my vets name or phone number to verify the information I gave her. She also refused to take responsibility, placing the blame on me the consumer for washing the medicated shampoo from the puppy which would not have killed the scabies anyway. The odor coming from the 6 week old puppy was horrible and could not be tolerated. If I had depended on Ms. House's miracle medicated shampoo to cure this pup she would have died within a week from her massive skin infection. Not only did she have Scabies but she also had a bacterial infection from standing in feces on her back legs according to my vet. It took 3 months for this puppy to get well and begin to lead a normal life. Frontline and antibiotics were prescribed for Scabies and skin infection, not mange, mange was never mentioned in my original complaint nor has it been mentioned at all until Ms. House did so in her rebuttal. Ms. House, needs to quit trying to place the blame on me for a pup that got scabies the day she was born. She also needs to realize I'm not trying to hide anything as I have nothing to hide by not publishing my Veternarians name. Casey's records are available to her and would have been forwarded had she cared enough to ask for them. I am an innocent consumer who in good faith purchased a puppy for $600.00 expecting it to be healthy and free from a preventable parasite that also posed a health risk to my husband and myself. Remember, we also had to be treated as we too contracted scabies. Ms. House needs to take responsibility for the conditions in her breeding facility. Standards are obviously not up to par and the animals she's breeding and selling are the ones suffering. I'm sure the reason I was not given permission to pick my puppy up at her home when I asked is because Ms. House has plenty to hide.

I see you refer to the vet as Dr. XXXX. Prehaps it is because Front Line in not a treatment for mange.
