They asked me what town I wanted leads for. Then they charge you according to the $ sales in that town. I picked Mendham and was charged $5,000. You were guarenteed atleast 3 leads a month.

After being involved with it I found out the leads were bogus. I happened to call one of the people and I knew them. They had no intention of selling, they justed wanted to know how much their home was. They don't tell the people surfing their site that their information is going to be sold off and that people will be contacting them. I was told that I would be getting leads for people wanting to sell, not curious people just using a site.

After finding out none of the leads were legit I tried cancelling my policy, but was told I would have to pay half of what was still left on the contract whether I used them or not. I feel if you are going to sell leads it should be actually people looking for an agent to list their home. Once I cancelled I couldn't access my account to copy the so called lead list to prove my point. As an agent I would double check their address just to make sure that they didn't list with anyone else and they weren't. I actually had some that were already listed with another agency. You were allowed to trade in ones that weren't actual addresses or didn't have correct information. It was like trying to sell ice to an eskimo. If someone didn't plan on selling you can't convince them to list with you then.

We filled out their form and within hours had "multiple" agents trying to list our home. All we wanted was to know the value! None wanted to give us the value unless we listed with them. We got the info for free at another web site, no one got the listing. So all you agents out there House Values sold our info to a lot more than one agent! House Values is a scam on both sides of the fence, everyone needs to stay clear of them, they are true "Rip Off's"!
