On 03/07/08 after I received an email from Tracey, I called HOB again. I challenged her CAP LOCKED response by saying I never verbally gave my credit card information for this order. I sent her additional emails where I was asking for someone to call me for my credit card info. If I had given my credit card info why would I be emailing someone to call me for it. She asked for me to send her the information so she could take it to her manager again. She said she would get back to me on Monday. 03/10/08- Fast forward to Monday. Tracey was not in today. So why did she bother telling me would get back to me. Melanie picked up the phone. She's the one who I emailed the second time in an attempt to order the fabric. Since Melanie nor Karen did not get back to me I ordered else wear. After I refresh Melanie's memory and placed on hold for 20 minutes, she tells me she only has the email inquiring about the mishap on my bridesmaids' dresses. I tell her either you or Karen ordered that fabric and you need to figure it out. She says this is customer service and billing is done somewhere else--and my paperwork is in shipping. So she has to get back to me. She said she will get back to me by tomorrow. I asked her if she's working tomorrow. By the way--the other vendor I ordered the fabric from is Jay's Bridal. I ordered it on a few days after not hearing back from HOB. Do you know that I have a tracking # from Jay's and I'm waiting on delivery. Not only is HOB the worst company ever they wait to the absolute last minute to place your order with the designer. The HOB order confirmation for the unauthorized ordered was emailed to me on 03/06/08. Meanwhile, I'm getting a tracking # from Jay's. Order from Jay's Bridal (in Florida). They have similar prices to HOB. I have no affiliation with Jay's. I just don't want anyone to go through what I have gone through.

Between 02/21/08 and 03/06/08, I've been trying to contact HOB about this fabric order I never authorized. Since my 1st five calls proved to be fruitless (including 1 for 40 minutes on hold) there is no need to document this experience. 03/07/08 I explain my situation yet again to Tracey (ecomm6). I send Tracey the original email below. I also explain that Karen (addressed in the email below) never called me. I followed up via email for Karen to call me. Since I could not reach Karen I attempted to order fabric through Melanie. She never followed up with me either. The order form states you may leave the credit card information blank and contact customer service. Since I never heard from either employee (after trying to contact both) to get my credit card information, I placed my fabric order with another vendor. HOB must keep your credit card info on file. So they took my credit card info from when I ordered the bridesmaids' dresses to process the fabric order. Here's the original email: Karen, Thank you for assistance in helping me order this fabric. I have attached my completed order for your processing. Please let me know if you are unable to view the file and I will fax it. When you are ready to process my credit card, I can be reached at XXX-XXX-XXXX until 5pm EST. Regards, Sheila Here's the HOB response: HI SHEILA, YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN REVIEWED BY OUR SUPERVISOR. IT HAS BEEN CONCLUDED THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FABRIC ORDER AND IT'S CHARGES. WHEN YOU PLACE AN ORDER AND PROVIDE CREDIT CARD INFORMATION, THAT ACT ITSELF IS GIVING AUTHORIZATION. WE DO HAVE YOUR EAMILS AND NOW WHERE DOES IT SAY THEAT WE NEED TO WAIT FOR YOUR "AUTHORIZATION" BEFORE CHARGING IT. UNFORTUNATELY THE ORDER HAS BEEN PROCESSED BY THE DESIGNER, SO WE CAN NOT CANCEL. WE DID SEND YOU AN EMAIL ON MARCH 4, 2008 CONFIRMING YOUR ESTIMATED SHIP TIME FOR THE FABRIC FOR THE END OF MARCH. I'M SORRY WE COULD NOT BE OF MORE ASSISTANCE. SINCERELY, HOUSE OF BRIDES
