She specifically said that she no longer sells just the patches. She had them in stock but would only sell them to ppl that also paid for her to sew them on. I even e-mailed the store and didn't get a response. I ordered the patches from an online source and sewed them on myself. She could have easily responded to my e-mail and tried to resolve the issue. She absolutely REFUSED to sell me the patches. I'll reconsider if she contacts me and agrees to be more reasonable in the future.

I'm sorry, but this does not seem like a rip off report, but rather a mis-communication with the business owner. I do not believe for one instant that the woman you are speaking of would have just ignored you. I in no way at all, believe she was trying to rip you off, either intentionally or unintentionally. I know she would have been happy to order the patches for you and have them ready for you to sew on personally at home. Yes, at times the lady you write of can be scatter-brained, but I'm positive this should not be considered a rip-off, but mis-communication. I really do hope you will continue with shopping at Huggins, instead of the internet, as local businesses in the area are already struggling in this economy. I have been to Kelseyville, and main street, and know the struggles the shop owners are going through right now. Main street is starting to look like a ghost town. I apologize on the behalf of the owner, because I know she would be very upset to know one of her loyal customers was lost to a simple case of mis-communication, and do not want this event to effect her other customers. I implore you to reconsider your decision to shop elsewhere.
