I signed up to use this service and used it the first day. I was very careful not to select any pay services, but I did use the one time credit card verification. I have not used any services here since then.

I just noticed in my online bank statements that they've been charging me every month since I signed up. I carefully read the information describing how to tell what is free and what will be charged. I know for a

fact that I have not opted in to any pay feeds that they offer.

I demand that they refund every single charge since I signed up, other than the credit card validation charge that I did authorize. I absolutely refuse to pay even a single dollar for services that I did not choose and never accessed. I find your buisness practices to be highly decieving and immoral. If I do not receive a prompt reply and refund, I will be contacting all applicable organizations to assist in this matter.

I Friends did refund all charges within a week of telling them about it. In their rebutal they claim that I knowingly signed up for additional services and went through multiple confirmations. This is completely false. I am very savvy on the internet and not naive in the least. I can spot a scam or catch a mile away. I was suspiscious and very cautious with everything I did on their website due to the fact they had my credit card for verification reasons. I carefully read everything before clicking and did not select any option or feature that was noted as having a charge. The only way I could have selected a service for a fee would be if a link was not marked as having a fee. In addition I certainly did not click any confirmation for them to continue to bill me monthly for the same item. My intentions were to spend no money there. If it's possible that this charge was not completely their doing, I'd have to say that their online experience is extremely deceiving and misleading. For someone as web savvy as myself to fall victim to receiving charges from them makes a major statement. This can be confirmed by the sheer number of people filing reports against this company for similar problems. Just think about how many people don't file reports or are too embarassed to complain. I truly believe this company is setup to mislead and confuse people into extra charges they never wanted. I'm sure this is intentional also, otherwise they would fix the issue and the reports would stop. Don't even let this company have your credit card number for verification. You'll regret it!

After becoming aware of the above RipOffReport complaint, we located Nick's account with iFriends. On the same day that Nick posted his complaint, he also emailed our Customer Care Department to request cancellation of his account. His account was immediately cancelled and all charges refunded. All prices and terms on our service are clearly and conspicuously disclosed, including use of prominent icons and multiple clickthroughs, in any instance in which a customer will incur charges.
