I bought a "4 in 1 Black Trio with Jack for iPhone" on Nov 21, 2007 from the NEW V-Tex Global INC booth for $60.00 cash while I was on vacation in San Diego. After trying it for a few days, I was not pleased with the sound quality, which was not close to what they played on their booth demo.

On Nov 24th, before I left town to go back home, I took the device to the nearest company booth to where I was staying (at the UTC mall) where they convinced me that I got the "wrong model" from the first booth and that they would give me a "newer" version that would work much better. With hesitation, I took them for their word, and they were not able to provide me with a receipt for the new device, telling me that I could just call the company # for a refund if I needed to return it.

On arriving home, I found there was no difference with the new device and that the sound quality was still not acceptible. I called the number for the company in San Diego 4 times in the next few weeks to find out how to return it, but never got a person and left a message. They did not call back. I called the Horton Plaza management and they finally got the person to call me, but when finding that I was from out of town he said that he would have to talk to his manager to "figure out how to work this." That was 3 weeks ago. I do not expect a call back.

I feel duped and ripped off, and I question the business practices of this company.
