We rented a villa through Ibiza Villas Vip Ltd, and was directed to Ownersdirect.co.uk to complete the request. We had correspondence with Shaun Wilson a Director of the Company registered in the UK as Ibiza Villas Vip Ltd, 10 Cowley Way, High Street Pershore, UK. We send the payment for the villa via bankers draft although were wary throughout the process until we arrived at the airport in Ibiza. We were greeted by a rep who took us to the vila we had chosen. Then Shaun Wilson showed up and collected 1000 euros cash from us as a refundable deposit and offered us an upgrade to another villa. We accepted and moved. The new villa was a nightmare from the start.

Power outages 5-6 times a day, no water, limited air con no dishwasher as expected. Shaun hardly ever returned our calls for help. On our departure we expected our full refund of the deposit. Shaun said he did not have it and would deposit in our bank account within 4 days. This raised alarm bells but what could we do? We sent him our bank details and still no refund. It has been 2 months since our vacation. He will not return our calls and looking at the reviews for the property on Owners Direct and HomeAway we are not the only ones! I am very suspicious as to why he moves people from thier chosen villas to this one villa NuNu house in Jesus Ibiza, who is getting the money we paid for the original choice?

What kind of a world do we live in when it is "expected" that we will get ripped off? where else were we supposed to go with a large family including small toddlers when we had already paid for this villa? We were promised 100% deposit refund thats all we want not a complete refund I suggest you read the complaint correctly.

 Where it is understandable that you had issues. None of which is in the catagory of a FULL refund. You did use the Villa. Which means because you were dissatisfied you expect a full refund even after using the Villa. I would suggest that you retain a lawyer, but given that you did USE the Villa instead of leaving and going to a hotel. This would tell any lawyer that the problems were not drastic enough to warrent a full refund. Good luck in your fight.

Now a days, when you use a service or product, especially if its a product or service within a time frame, you wont get back the full amount. Its about fairness. You DID use your Villa so they are allowed to keep the money. But as I said maybe retain a lawyer. It might get you further in recovering SOME of your money. But I can tell you from my experiences that if you get 50% of your money back then consider yourself LUCKY!!
