Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

i recently started researching the web about this so called industry and came across this site. and i was happy to actually be able to tell my story and here it is.

my sister and i went shopping at the Rockaway mall in nj, in march 2009 and my sister was approached by imts girls who asked her if she was interested in modeling. she said yes and walked over to me where we both agreed to go to a conference with one of the stuidos workers. they told us that there would be no money down and that they would call us in 24 hours to make an appointment.

the next day we got a call from a man saying he was excited to meet us and to work with us. apparently the girls in the mall stated that we were gorgeous and they wanted us to work for them no matter what it took. yet again, my sister and i agreed to make an appointment and meet with them. the man told us that the appointment would be very important and could not be canceled.

about a week later my parents, my sister, and i took a trip to the studio where we waited about a half hour before we were seen by a woman named Paula, a dev. dir. she took all of us into a private room and started asking us what we were interested in and she talked about how each photohoot was priced and when our parents said they could not pay for it, the lady imediently kept complimenting us and told us that she would pay for half of the photoshoot. paula gave us a $550 dollar photoshoot appointment that was one outfit picture for both of us and that was made two weeks after that exact day. my parents were very concered when she also had us sign a contract saying you can not refund any money you have given them and if you dont cancel the photo shoot in seven days they will charge you a $100 rescheduling fee.

two weeks after we made the appointment we arrived at that studio where were taken to a back room to get our makeup and hair done. when the women were finished with our outfits the photographer walked us through two rooms and took us all around the building outside. the photographer seemed as if he was in a rush while giving us many compliments saying we were perfect.

when our photoshoots were completed we went to the front desk to make another appointment to see our photos but the lady said that we would need yet ANOTHER $550 to even look at them. my parents then grew tired of the lies and tried getting they're money back for the one photoshoot but they would not budge to give us one cent of it. even though they knew we would not pay for the photos they kept calling our phones constantly, every day insisting for us to pay for the photos. to this day, we still have phone calls coming in 4-5 times daily.

this place is a hoax and they should not even be called a modeling industry. If there is a class action lawsuit agaisnt this studio please contact me my number is(((Redacted))) thank you..
